A tough fight to call, despite being 34 years old Gare is probably showing the best form of his career, he has won his last 3 which includes a big shock when he knocked out Maselino Masoe in the 4th round for the WBF title. Alvarez is taking a big step up in class here, he has a great record but is yet to be tested, Gare has competed and won at a much higher level, never rule out an undefeated fighter, especially one who is 22-0 but he may have bitten off a little more than he can chew with Gare, I am not sure how much the veteran has left to offer but if he can continue in the same rich form we have seen of late he may upset the younger prospect.(source:Ultimate Boxing Results)
